The UCI BMX World Cup season is in full swing and this weekend's tour stop was in Zolder, Belgium. British siblings Tre and Kye Whyte have been training hard under one of the most decorated programs in the world with British Cycling. Tre would end up fairing the better of the two with just missing the final with a 5th place in his semi-final and Kye would make it to the quarter-final.
GT’s Brazilian connection Renato Rezende has been spending time at the UCI training facility in Switzerland working under the guidance of GT BMX legend Thomas Allier. Renato was showing tremendous speed and skill but some poor luck kept him from advancing out of his quarter-final.
American rookie Sophia Foresta, unfortunately, had a series of mechanical issues that had her finishing her weekend bruised and sore but not defeated and looking forward to the next race.
