Supercross BMX | Passion BMX Frame
The frame that goes with you everywhere. Park, street, trails, dirt — pick your weapon. The Passion handles it all.
We've been calling the Passion our "Swiss-Army Knife" of BMX for years now, and that hasn't changed. What has changed is that it keeps getting better. Full seamless, heat-treated Cro-Mo, Reynolds tubing blends, and all the right features in all the right places — this is a do-everything freestyle frame built by people who actually ride. And now it comes in 20", 26", and 29" — so there really is a Passion for everyone.
We didn't build the Passion to win a spec sheet war. We built it because having fun on a BMX bike is the whole point, and the Passion is what makes that happen. Every single decision on this frame — the tubing, the dropout thickness, the built-in clamp, the wishbone lug — it all comes back to that. Get on it, ride it hard, and you'll understand what we mean.
What We Built Into It
Every feature on the Passion is there for a reason. Nothing is just there to look good on a list — everything is there because it makes the frame better to ride.
The Tubing
Full seamless, heat-treated Cro-Mo throughout — blended with Reynolds tubing where it counts. Seamless tubing means no weld seam running through the tube wall, so there's no weak spot baked into the material before we've even started. The full post-weld heat treatment normalizes the entire frame structure after welding — the same process we use across all of our race frames. It raises the overall strength, evens out the grain structure, and means this frame will outlast most of what's out there.
Sizes
Three wheel sizes. Five top tube options on 20". Something for everyone — and we mean that literally, because we added 26" and 29" so the Big BMX crowd can finally ride a proper freestyle frame too.
| Wheel Size | Top Tube | Who It's For |
|---|---|---|
| 20" | 20.5" TT | Smaller riders, younger teenagers, tighter fit preference |
| 20" | 21" TT | The most popular all-around size — works for most adult riders |
| 20" | 21.5" TT | Taller riders, or anyone who likes more stretch |
| 26" | Big BMX | Adult riders who want more wheel, more roll, and more stability |
| 29" | Big BMX | Maximum wheel size — bigger riders, max rollover, big pump tracks |
🔧 Don't see your size? The 26" and 29" Passion frames are also available as frame + SLT fork kits — check the options above or contact us at 760/240-5266 and we'll point you in the right direction.

Complete the Build — Add the SLT Fork
The Passion frame is designed to pair with our SLT fork, and if you've never ridden one, you need to. We've been refining our forks for decades — the SLT takes everything we know and puts it into one piece:
- Larger butted and tapered Cro-Mo legs for maximum stiffness
- Forged Cro-Mo internal spiral fluted steertube with welded-in star nut
- Micro 1/4" Cro-Mo dropouts — same precision as the frame
- Full black oxide rust-proofing inside and out
- Full post-weld heat treatment
- No weight limit — built for all riders
- Only 27 oz for the 20" version — lighter than a lot of alloy forks out there
- Available in all Passion colors so it matches
It handles anything you throw at it — skatepark, trails, track, street — and it's the right fork for the Passion. Pick up both and build it right the first time.
🏅 As ridden by Marcus Christopher — X Games Gold Medalist (Ventura 2024), 2025 UCI BMX Freestyle World Cup Winner, and 2024 Paris Olympian. Marcus rides the Passion at the highest level of competition in the world. He didn't pick it because we asked him to — he picked it because it's what he wanted to ride.

Quick Answers
What headset does the Passion take?
All Passion frames use the Campy Integrated headset — 45/45 degree bearings. This applies to every wheel size and every top tube length. No traditional press-in headset, no tapered — just the Campy Integrated standard across the board.
What size seat post does it use?
25.4mm across all Passion frame sizes. And you don't need a separate clamp — the Passion has a built-in seat post clamp with a pivotal cut machined right into the frame.
Does it work with a rear brake?
Yes. The Passion comes with removable 990 brake mounts for standard U-brake / 990 rear brake setups. Want to run it brakeless? Pull the mounts off and you're clean. Your call.
What axle size does it take?
14mm rear axle — the freestyle standard. Works with any solid 14mm bolt-on rear hub.
Which fork should I get with the Passion?
We build the Passion to pair with our SLT Fork. It matches the frame's material quality, the finish colors, and the riding philosophy. If you're building from scratch, pick up both at the same time — it's available in all Passion colors as a matched set.
What's your warranty policy?
All Supercross BMX hardgoods come with a 90-day material and workmanship warranty. We also have a liberal Crash Warranty policy that covers dents, dings, and damage from actual riding. Crashed into a gate? Hit a curb wrong? We've got you. Email us at info@supercrossbmx.com and we'll sort it out.
Is the 26" or 29" Passion the same geometry as the 20"?
The 26" and 29" Passion frames are designed specifically for bigger wheels — the geometry is dialed for the larger wheel size, not just a scaled-up 20" frame. If you're a bigger rider or just want more roll and stability, the Big BMX Passion sizes are worth your time. We've been into Big BMX for years and we know how to build for it.
What BB standard does the Passion use?
Mid bottom bracket — 68mm shell, 43.5mm chainline. This is the current freestyle standard and works with the vast majority of quality 3-piece cranks on the market.
Built by Supercross BMX — Over 35 Years of Making the Best BMX We Know How
We started Supercross in 1989 trying to build the best frames we could for our own race team. That hasn't changed. We still build everything because we can't stand the idea of putting something out that isn't right. The Passion is that same attitude applied to freestyle — a frame we'd want to ride ourselves, built the way we know how to build them.
6 USA BMX Golden Cranks for Bike of the Year. 7x Pull Magazine Bike of the Year. UCI and USA BMX World Champions on our frames. We're proud of all of it. But honestly, what gets us most is the riders who've been on Supercross since the early 90's and won't ride anything else. That's the goal. Build it right. Build it to last. Build it because you love BMX.
